When Old Dog sees her best friend come home from serving in the military, she starts to cry.
Buddy is a Golden Retriever who is 13 years old and has devoted her entire life to being with her best friend Hannah Foraker. On the other hand, when Hannah reached the age of 21, she enlisted in the army and travelled to Oklahoma for her initial training.
Hannah’s heart broke as she said goodbye to her closest pals, including her horse, Buddy, and Buddy, as well as her other best buddy, Derby.
After being away from home for three months, Hannah was really excited to spend Christmas break with her family and finally catch up with Buddy. And Buddy couldn’t contain his excitement till he saw her!
When Buddy was still a young dog, Hannah adopted her. Buddy is a very elderly man who suffers from arthritis and is largely deaf at this point.
Despite this, she still manages to give Hannah the warmest welcome anyone could ask for. As soon as she sees Hannah, she runs up to her and cries her eyes out while burying her head in Hannah’s lap.
Over the years, we have witnessed a great number of soldier and dog reunions, but this one is guaranteed to give you a strong emotional tug on your heartstrings.
Dogs never, ever forget things, and the instant these troops who are fighting our freedom return home, their Best (Fur-Friends) are waiting to greet them with open paws. Dogs never, ever forget things.
The notion that dogs actually do deliver “love without conditions” in this world was brought to our attention by a few of the films that we have viewed and shared with our audience. It serves as a little nudge to remember that we ought to take good care of our closest companions, especially considering that there is nothing more devoted to its owner than a dog.
The feelings that Buddy must have experienced upon meeting her childhood best buddy again at an advanced age moved both of us to tears.
