Glen Powell, star of the upcoming “Twisters” movie, has taken Hollywood by storm with an unexpected co-star: his rescue dog, Brisket.
Glen Powell’s rescue dog Brisket has quickly become the breakout star of the Twisters press tour, attending red carpets, interviews, and magazine covers alongside his famous owner.
The actor, who plays storm chaser Tyler Owens in the Twister sequel, adopted Brisket from the Labelle Foundation while filming in Oklahoma in 2023.
Powell, who was going through a breakup at the time, said he always wanted a dog and felt an instant connection with Brisket after seeing his photo online.
“I sent them a heartbreakingly depressing video of me [explaining] why I needed this dog,” Powell recalled to Entertainment Weekly. “Brisket is the only reason I’ll ever post a thirst trap,” Powell joked to Entertainment Tonight, referring to a shirtless set photo that went viral.
