On a recent expedition off the coast of California, accompanied by co-captain Erica Sackrison, Biagini brought Fin along for what would become an unforgettable experience.
The trio ventured into an area teeming with approximately 50 blue whales, a rare concentration of these elusive giants. With engines silenced, they drifted quietly, awaiting a close encounter. Their patience was soon rewarded as a blue whale surfaced near their vessel.
