Most Popular Dog Breeds

Are you wondering how popular your puppy really is? Now you can find out. The most popular dog breeds of 2021 based on the 2020 AKC registration statistics.

All countries have their favourite tastes for pets, and although a nation’s dogs are as diverse as its people, there are still some breeds that are more prevalent than others.

Not surprisingly, the Labrador Retriever may take the top spot for the 29th year in a row, but among the other big movers and shakers is the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which entered the top 10 for the first time this year. Other notable changes include the Icelandic Sheepdog, which has moved up 24 spots since last year.
