Two-Year-Old Attacked by Pack of Dogs in Whitley County
A two-year-old child was airlifted to the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville after being attacked by a pack of dogs in Whitley County, Kentucky on Sunday.
According to officials, the child exited a vehicle during a surprise visit when they were attacked by the dogs.
While details about the extent of the child’s injuries are not yet available, officials were able to locate four of the dogs involved in the attack.
These dogs have been described as aggressive but not large and will be placed in bite hold at a local animal shelter.
The search for the remaining dogs is ongoing.
