If you’ve ever played hide and seek with your dog, you already know how this story ends. Dogs are convinced they’re absolute geniuses at hiding… even when they’re standing right in front of you with half their body showing.
That’s exactly what happened with Chloe, the adorable little Bichon Frise who completely stole my heart this week.
When Your Dog Takes Hide and Seek Way Too Seriously
In a hilarious video posted by her mom (@chloecutiebichon), tiny Chloe thought she had found the perfect hiding spot behind a wall. From her perspective, she was invisible. Mission accomplished.
Her mom, however, saw her fluffy white tail and back legs sticking out and couldn’t help but laugh. Big mistake.
The moment Chloe realized she was being laughed at, she whipped around, barked sharply, and stomped her tiny paw in pure frustration. The attitude was chef’s kiss. You could practically hear her thinking, “Mom, how dare you!”
The caption on the video nailed it:
“Mom is mocking my hiding skills… That’s so rude.”
I’ve watched this clip way too many times already. The dramatic stomp, the offended side-eye, and that little bark — it’s comedy gold.
