Rosie the dog, who was reported missing, turned herself in at the Loughborough police station.

A dog that became disoriented while out on a walk in Loughborough voluntarily presented itself at the local police station.

After becoming separated from her owner, Rosie the border collie wandered through the automated doors into the waiting area at the Loughborough police station.

A camera at the station captured the scene on surveillance video.

She appeared to have a quick look about before she settled down in the corner, where she appeared to patiently wait for law enforcement personnel to fix the issue she was in.

“Rosie was being walked in the neighborhood with another dog when she managed to get away from her owners. What a nice, bright dog.”

She reported that her husband was “very concerned” over the situation, but just as he was bringing home their second dog, she got a call informing her that Rosie had been found.

“I was so glad and so happy she was safe and so proud of her that she was clever enough to find her way to the police station,” she added.

According to the Leicestershire Police:
